TBS Cellmen on the podium at the Bol d’Or Mirabaud regatta

When François Thorens hoisted the sails on his monohull TBS Cellmen last weekend for the epic competition that is the 81st Bol d’Or Mirabaud, he was sporting Cellmen colours.

Echoing the values of excellence and technical expertise that drive Cellmen, the skipper and his team placed third in the monohull classification, after a closely fought battle with their competitors. Cellmen was deeply impressed at the skilled performance François Thorens gave at this event, the world's most important inland lake regatta.

After struggling with a lack of wind at the start, TBS Cellmen managed to make up time to draw level with the leaders. Mid-way along the route, a violent storm struck the lake, forcing the skipper to err on the side of caution and lower his sails before setting off with renewed energy. This prudent decision led him to finish with an outstanding placing.

Cellmen is both proud and excited to support this talented yachtsman in his future sailing successes.
